"Best Business Continuity Management Award." "Bank of the Year in Asia", "Bank of the Year in China", "Best Deal in China", "Best Deal in South Africa" , "Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award", "Best Corporate Image Award" from The Banker (UK), and the case of "ICBC Peony Business Card" won "Top 10 Financial Products" award in corporate business. " Best Premium Program – Credit", "Best Business Card", "Best Innovation in Product" from MasterCard. ICBC Annual Report was named as the "Best Annual Report – China " from Lafferty Group (UK) and was the bronze medal of "Vision Award" presented by League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). ICBC Won "Best Cash Management Bank of China" from the "TRIPLEA" poll conducted by The Asset (HK). In the "Triple A Country Awards 2008" of The Asset magazine, ICBC won "Best Domestic Bank, China". And ICBC also received "Best Integrated Deal of China" and "Best Sub-Custodian Bank of Mainland China" award from The Asset, "2008 Rising Star Trade Finance Bank in China" from The Asset (HK). "Best Bank of China " and "Best Cash Management Bank of China " from Finance Asia . "Best Retail Bank in China ", "Best State-owned Retail Bank in China " and "Multi-channel Retail Banking in China " from Asian Banker. "Best RMB Cash Management Bank" from Asia Money . "China In-House Team of the Year" and "Banking and Financial Service In-House Team of the Year" from Asia Legal Business. "Best Financial Risk Management Award in China Mainland" from Asia Risk's "Risk Management 2008" and Mr. Wei Guoxiong, ICBC CRO was the "Bank Risk Manager of the Year" in Asia. "Asia-Pacific Oil and Gas Deal of the Year" from Project Finance. "Best Investor Relations by a Chairman" and "Best Investor Relations by a CEO" were presented to Mr. Jiang Jianqing, Board Chairman of ICBC and Mr. Yang Kaisheng, President of ICBC respectively during the awarding ceremony of "China Conference & Awards 2008" by IR MAGAZINE. At the 5th Annual Asia Pacific Call Center Awards 2008 organized by Call Center Association of Singapore (CCAS), Call Center Association of Malaysia (CCAM), HK Call Center Association (HKCCA), ICBC 95588 took the three top awards of "Best Call Center in Asia Pacific", "Best Call Center in China", and "Best Call Center Manager in China". "Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards" from the selection of "Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards 2008" organized by CHKLC and CCGFP of Hong Kong Baptist University. During the event of "2008 Best Corporate Governance Disclosure Awards" organized by Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, ICBC won the "Gold Award" in the listing of H-share companies. ICBC ranked 18th in Millward Brown's list of "Top 100 Most Powerful Brands" and 16th in "Top 500 Banking Brands" of The Banker (UK). The "Indonesia Indramayu Power Plant USD 592 Million Export Buyer's Credit Project" that had ICBC as its head bank, was awarded the "Best Deal of 2008" by the international authoritative magazines Trade Finance and Global Trade Review.

Domestic tiles and awards presented to ICBC were: "Model Enterprise of Poverty Alleviation designated by Central State Organization" from the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development: "Risk Aversion Award of Joint-mission in Cracking Bank Card Crimes" from People's Bank of China and Ministry of Public Security; "Honor of the Public Security" from Ministry of Public Security; "Model Enterprise of Nationwide SME Financial Services" from China Banking Regulatory Commission; "China Livelihood Trailblazer 2008" from China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation; "China Red Cross Medal" from Red Cross Society of China. ICBC won the First Award of "The national Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement" from the China National Committee for Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement. ICBC won the " Securities and Futures Science & Technology Award: Best Innovation " presented by Securities Association of China. In the selection of "Internet Banking in 2008" organized by CFCA, ICBC won the title of "Best Internet Bank of China ". During The Third Annual Meeting of Chinese Businessmen, ICBC won the "China Top Ten Commercial Banks in supporting SME" awarded by the organizing committee. ICBC was named as the " Listed Companies in China Securities Market: Golden Censer Prize " jointly presented by Organizing Committee of CMAC and Securities Daily. ICBC was the "Most Influential Brand of China Financial Services" named by the Organizing Committee of China Top 10 Most Influential Brands. During the event of "China Investor Relations Awards Ceremony" endorsed and supervised by both the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and jointly organized by Research Center on the IRM of China Listed Companies, ICBC snapped three awards: "China Top 100 A -share Companies in IRM", "Best Board Secretary" and "Best IR Home Page". ICBC won two awards from China Unionpay, that is the "2008 Outstanding Contribution Award for the Promotion of Unionpay Standard Card" and the "2008 Outstanding Contribution Award for Overseas Business of Unionpay Cards". In the "Most Honored 50 Listed Companies of China 2008" jointly organized by Weekly World Executive , Journal World Entrepreneur and "World Financial Lab", ICBC was sitting at the top of the list. Jiang Jianqing, Chairman of the Board of ICBC was the "Chinese Business Person of the Year 2008", the Board of Directors of ICBC won the title of "Best Board of Directors of Listed Company in China 2008" and Gu Shu, the Secretary of Board of Directors of ICBC was honored as the "Best Board Secretary of Listed Company in China ." In the "iPower500 of Chinese Enterprise Informatization" from National Informatization Evaluation Center , ICBC ranked first. During the "CSR Summit Forum 2008" and the "People's Social Responsibility Award Ceremony "hosted by Network Center , People's Daily, ICBC received the "People's Social Responsibility Award". In the selection of "Green Credit Projects" organized by one of the leading financial media 21st Century Business Review, Phase II of Resource Utilization of Salt Lake, a project funded by Qinghai Branch of ICBC to Qinghai Salt Lake Industrial Group Co. In "The Ranking of Enterprises in China", a survey conducted by The China CSR Research Center, Southern Weekly , ICBC ranked the third in Top 100 of "Overall Ranking of Listed State-owned Companies by Corporate Social Responsibility." ICBC received the "Top 100 Listed Companies of China : Gold Bull Award" from China Securities Journal. In the annual ranking of "China Distinguished Financial-Economic Securities Website" for the ninth year announced by Securities Times , ICBC won a total of 4 awards - "2008 Distinguished Achievement", "Best Security Performance", "Best Internet Banking", "2008 Top 10 Management Team (financial website)." In the "Selection of Excellent Investment Banks of China" sponsored by the Securities Times, ICBC won the "Best Bank in Investment Banking" and the "Best Restructured and Merged Bank", and the "Baosteel Group's Restructuring Project of Guangdong Iron & Steel Industry" that had ICBC as its M&A advisor won the "Best M&A Project Award". ICBC was named the "Best Fund Custody Bank in China " by Securities Times and received award of " Distinguished Contribution in 10 Years: Gold Award " from Shanghai Securities News . "Best Internet Bank" by Sina.com and "Excellence in Credit Card Service Award" from Sohu.com. At the "Announcement of 2008 Bank Card Development & Marketing Forum and Credit Card Review" by Hexun.com, ICBC peony credit card won a total of three awards of "Best Card Issuing Bank", "Innovation of the Year" and "Platinum Card" and ICBC won the first prize of "Internet Bank: Best User Experience." In China Finance Chart Awards 2008, which was organized by Hexun.com and co-sponsored by China Securities Market Research and Design Center, ICBC earned six prominent awards, that is, "Best Enterprise for Public Welfare of the Year", "Outstanding Banking Service Award", "Best Listed Company for Investor Relations", "Best User-Experienced Internet Bank", "Best Card-Issuing Bank" and "Best Banking Financial Product in Investment Value". In the "Announcement - 2008 - Wealth Management China Forum – Credit Card Forum & Credit Card Review (QQ.COM)", ICBC dominated the tables by snapping   "Distinguished Contribution to China Credit Card Industry Award, while ICBC Peony Credit Card is named as "Most Influential Credit Card" and "Credit Card of the Year." ICBC Peony Gold Card was the "Most Welcomed Credit Card" named by WiseMoney, financial sector and China National Radio. During the event of the "Golden Cup Awards in the first annual China e-finance" organized by China Electronic Commerce Association, ICBC Internet Banking and ICBC Banking@Home won the "Distinguished Contribution to Internet Banking" and "User-satisfied e-finance Brand" respectively. In the "The 1st Annual Banking Call Center Review" organized by Financial Times and sponsored by China Banking Association and Insurance Association of China, ICBC 95588 earned the plaudit of "Best Banking Customer Service Center". In the selection of "Most Trusted Bank 2008 by Chinese CFO" organized by CFO World , ICBC was named "Best Internet Bank". During the "Issue and Symposium on China Corporate Governance Index 2008" sponsored by Business School of Nankai University and Research Center for Corporate Governance of Nankai University, ICBC was the champion of "China Best Public Company Board." In the "Second Annual China Best Banking Wealth Management Products 2008" and "China Most Respected Bank" jointly organized by Money Week, Banking Research Center of Central University of Finance and Economics, Trust and Financing Research Institute of Southwest University of Finance and Economics, ICBC Peony Credit Card snapped the two awards of "Best Customer Services" and "Credit Card Brand of Most Growth Potential".
